Too Faced a la mode eyes palette review

Hi Guys

Sorry for the long gap between posts I've just been super busy with my PhD and life in general. I am trying to post more regularly so please stick with me.

So it was my birthday not that long ago and one of my very good friends who enables my make up addiction bought me the new too faced a la mode palette (she knows me very well). so after playing with it for a little while I have decided to review it for you. If you like this review and want to purchase this palette i believe its still available at some Mecca store and kit cosmetics, this is limited edition so be quick.

Now on to the review, this palette is set out like most too faced palettes larger pans for the highlight shades and smaller pan for everything else.

Too face a la mode palette (I really like the pink, orange and blue packaging)

Inside of the too faced a la mode palette
As with most too faced palettes a little cheat sheet is included of looks that could be done with this palette.

The first thing I noticed when opening this palette is that bright pink shade (Monaco) and it doesn't disappoint ether being very pigmented and easy to blend. I also really like the peachy shade above it (Jordin) this one is a little less pigmented but still a lovely shade to work with. All the shades in this palette do have some shimmer in them or a metallic finish, so if you like matte shades this is not the palette for you.

Overall this palette is just what you expect from too faced, the shades are pigmented and bendable. This palette is great if you are wanting to trying some more adventurous colours without going too wild. The only negative I have is that this palette have no matte shades, so if your travelling you may need to take another palette to complete you looks.

So here are some more pics

Hope you like this review (I really love this palette) and hopefully I'll get a chance to post again soon

Sarah
